Australian Corporate Jet Centres (ACJC) is proud to announce another exciting milestone in its continued growth, with the acquisition of Hangar 86 at Essendon Fields Airport and the addition of a Cessna Citation Encore and TBM 700 to its expanding fleet.
Expanded Operational Capacity
The acquisition of Hangar 86 significantly enhances ACJC’s operational capabilities, providing additional space to support our growing aircraft management, maintenance, and charter operations while delivering an even greater experience for clients and crew.
Commenting on the acquisition of Hangar 86, ACJC Owner Sam Iliades said
“On a personal level, this represents a true full-circle moment. Twenty-five years ago, I began my corporate aviation career as a Gulfstream IV pilot based in this very hangar. To now return as part of ACJC’s continued growth and investment at Essendon Airport is both humbling and immensely rewarding.”
Our Growing Fleet
The addition of the Citation Encore and TBM 700 further strengthens our ability to offer flexible, efficient charter solutions, expanding the range of aircraft available to meet diverse customer requirements across Australia.
Both the Citation Encore and TBM700 made their public debut at the Cohuna Airport Opening Day on 7th July, where they were proudly displayed as part of the celebrations marking the completion of the airport’s upgraded runway. The event highlighted the importance of regional aviation and the role modern aircraft play in connecting communities across Victoria and beyond.
Speaking about the Cohuna Airport Opening Day, Mr Iliades also emphasised the importance of investing in regional aviation infrastructure:
“The significance of regional airports to provide a vital air link in times of medical and natural emergencies has been clearly demonstrated, and the boost for business and tourism in towns with airports capable of handling larger aircraft opens up an important gateway.”
